Greg McAllister 2024 – 2025

Greg McAllister’s clients are often facing their toughest professional and personal circumstances. They need someone they can trust, especially when they need it most. They rely on Greg’s experience to be strategic, aggressive, and focused on the end goals.

Clients need an attorney that will “have your back.” Greg does. His clients:

  • call Greg first whenever they have a legal issue,
  • refer Greg to family and friends,
  • are executives and businesses, and
  • include lawyers and law firms that hired Greg regarding a range of matters, covering employment law, social media, trade secrets, investigations, and partnership disputes.
Greg McAllister 2022 – 2024

He primarily represents individuals and companies regarding non-compete/non-solicit, trade secrets, overtime, business disputes, discrimination, harassment, and executive compensation. His clients often request or defend against temporary restraining orders (TROs) and injunctions. Greg is a go-to referral for negotiating severance agreements, and also advises and negotiates other employment/business agreements and disputes. His non-employment cases are wide-ranging, covering FINRA, NIL, defamation, business disparagement, social clubs (e.g., sorority), peace bonds, partnership disputes, arbitration matters, and more. His cases occur in a range of industries, such as oil/gas, technology, healthcare, automotive, real estate, retail, and others. These matters cover pre-suit work (negotiations, mediations, and Rule 202 depositions), arbitration, and litigation.

Greg McAllister
2020 – 2024

Greg’s career began at a premier Dallas litigation firm, where he learned under multiple partners considered “lions” of the State Bar of Texas. They showed, not just told about, the fast-paced world of Texas litigation, especially TROs and injunctions. To hone his work as an employment lawyer, he left and quickly made partner at the world’s largest employment law firm, which has over 2,000 lawyers in over 60 countries. He is passionate about working with executives and individuals. So, Greg founded IMcP with Josh and Chase because they share his vision for a firm that:

  • focuses on the individual/employee side,
  • puts clients first,
  • has the experience needed to focus on results,
  • works hard, and
  • wants to WIN.

That vision aligns with Greg’s experience playing and coaching football, which also taught teamwork, mental toughness, and tenacity. Those lessons carried over into law – Greg is repeatedly recognized in D Magazine Best Lawyers, Texas Super Lawyers, and Best Lawyer. Those lessons are applicable when developing case strategy, negotiating contracts, and grinding through the tough cases.

For 20 years, Dallas has been home for Greg, his wife, and their three kids. He’s coached their sports teams, which teaches many of the same characteristics needed in law, such as strategy, mental toughness, tenacity, and working toward a common goal.

Greg is a member/volunteer in the Dallas Bar Association, One CommunityUSA (Board Member), and Dallas Area Habitat for Humanity. In 2019, he was a member of the Dallas Regional Chamber’s Leadership Dallas. He has been a guest speaker at legal seminars and continuing legal education courses at the Dallas Bar Association, Dallas Association of Young Lawyers, SMU Dedman School of Law, Texas A&M School of Law, and UNT Dallas College of Law, and others. Greg edited and contributed significantly to The Texas Litigator’s Guide to Departing Employee Cases, which was first published in 2016, updated and re-issued in 2022, and is a resource used by many Texas attorneys.
